Allow me to introduce myself! My name is Dona Jung—pronounced “young.” I specialize in wedding and family photography, though I also do maternity, senior portraits, and even real estate. My goal is to really let my clients’ personalities shine through effortless, natural photos. I long to help my clients create and capture great memories, and to have fun while doing so! Photography has always been an important part of my life. When I was growing up, my mom had this old SLR camera and would take pictures of my sisters and me wherever we went. She always had it with her. When she passed away, I was handed that same camera. I found that it was a way for me to feel connected to her, and that connection created a passion for photography that I never expected to find! Because of my mom’s love of photography, my family and I have so many special memories to look back on. Photos give us something tangible to hold on to when the feelings and memories inevitably start to fade. Now, even though I may use a camera that’s a little bigger than my mom’s SLR, I hold on to that philosophy. My goal is to make every client feel like I do when I look back on those family photos and to create a personalized experience that becomes a special memory in itself.

My greatest wish is for my clients to enjoy their photos long after they receive them. I love imagining parents laughing at their kids’ silly faces, couples tearing up as they’re reminded of how they felt on their wedding day, and mothers cherishing the days just before their little one entered the world.
